The whole process for me is a little difficult, because I am not familiar with many kinds of methods and searcher engines.
At first, I established a Google account, then I applied a blog from BLOGGER, it cost much time because I couldn't find how to set my basic information. It's very interesting to see my blog when I really got one.
Secondly, I created a notepad file, and typed all the HTML codes in it. In this process, I modified the size of the image through Photoshop, it's easier for me, because I had learnt this from my course before; then I searched the HTML text color codes, the background, and also the slide pictures codes from Internet, it looked more interesting and colorful.
During these processes, I encountered a lot of problems, because the search engine is not that convenient. I used Google and Baidu website to search. Finally, I knew the slide pictures only need to add one code named "marquee". It's really useful for the latest design. The disadvantage of this HTML format is that I couldn't design like what I wantthrough it .
The debugging of the HTML really cost me lots of time. After I typed all the codes, I opened a web browse, I found the design was not that good, so I tried to debug the character size and color, after many times test, it looked better.
When I applied a account from free webhosting server, I found a lot of problems. At first, I tried Geocites website, but it's closed lately, so I changed to another one –Bravenet website.
I opened website manage, clicked "build a new website", selected an address for my website, then cancelled, because it's a wrong step. After many times try, I used a subdomain, entered a subdomain, finally, I got my personal website address---"calla8088.bravehost.com".
After I applied a personal website address, I began to upload my HTML file, because it includedmany big pictures, the speed was very slow, so I uploaded one by one. After 5 minutes, it's all uploaded successfully. Finally, I viewed my personal website on line.
From this assignment, I learned a lot, like how to apply and use blog, how to create a new text on my blog, how to do my personal website page correctly, how to upload the pictures, how to use HTML codes online, and how to cooperate with my partners, it's really useful for the future.
After many times attempts, I think I can do it more smoothly if I do it again. In a word, the Internet is a very huge world, we can learn a lot if we have chance to try. Furthermore, I'm very excited to have my own blog and my personal website page.
